How your treasury reserve is locked
In short
When you launch, you can set aside up to 30% of your coins for later rewards. You own them in your own wallet, and Liquistate never holds them. They stay locked 30 days, then unlock in 12 equal monthly parts.
Liquistate never holds your coins. The reserve is locked on-chain in your name.
Words used on this page
- Devnet: Solana's test network. Coins there have no real value.
- Pool: a pot of coins and USDC that people trade against. A deeper pot means steadier prices.
- Vesting: coins that unlock bit by bit over time instead of all at once.
- On-chain: recorded on the Solana blockchain, a public record anyone can check.
- Wallet: an app (like Phantom) that holds your coins. Only you control it.
Think of it like: a safe-deposit box with a time lock. The box is in your name, the key is yours, and the timer is built into the box itself. Nobody at the bank, and not even you, can open it early or change the timer.
Liquistate never holds your coins. No Liquistate wallet ever holds, controls or signs for your reserve or your owner share, not even for a moment. Every step below is signed by your own launcher wallet, and the coins only ever sit in on-chain programs, in your name.
The steps
- You launch the coin. Your own wallet signs the launch. Your reserve (up to 30% of your coins) is set aside inside the launch contract (LaunchLab's on-chain lock) with your wallet as the owner. It is never on the market and never in anyone's wallet. Your wallet then signs one more short step that writes your wallet in as the lock's owner.
- The coin graduates. When the curve fills, the coin moves to its Raydium pool. Until then the launch contract only lets the reserve out after graduation.
- You sign one transaction to move it into the vault. On the coin page you tap Move the reserve into its monthly vesting. That single transaction takes the reserve out of the launch lock and, in the same step, puts it into an on-chain vault (Streamflow, an audited lock service). Because both happen in one transaction, the coins are never loose in a wallet. Your wallet is the only signer.
- The rules are written on the blockchain. Nothing unlocks for 30 days after launch, then 1/12 unlocks each month for 12 months. Nobody can cancel or change them: not Liquistate and not the launcher.
- Each month you tap Claim on the coin page. Only that month's amount moves to your wallet. Early claims are refused by the blockchain. If the coin graduates late, months that have already passed can be claimed right away.
Good to know
- 30% max: you can set aside up to 30% of your coins for your coin's treasury. Anything over 30% is refused.
- Your wallet is the owner: the reserve is always locked in the launcher's own wallet's name. Naming a different wallet is refused.
- Coin page: shows the next unlock date, how many coins are unlocked, claimed and still locked.
- $20K minimum: every collectible needs at least $20K of value for its own coin.
- Under $20K: the item goes into a basket coin with other items instead.
- 50% basket limit: one item can be at most half of a basket.
- Before graduation: the reserve waits in the launch contract (still in your name). If the launcher ever claimed it from the launch contract without the vault step, the coin page would show that publicly.
