Guide: Stock pairs

In short

A stock-paired coin trades against a stock token made by another company. Holding your coin does not give you any shares, dividends or votes. US persons can't use these.

The simplest coin: launches instantly, paired with a licensed stock token.

Words used on this page
  • Market cap: the price of one coin times all the coins, so the total value of the coin.
  • USDC: a digital dollar. One USDC is meant to be worth $1.
  • Devnet: Solana's test network. Coins there have no real value.
  • Pool: a pot of coins and USDC that people trade against. A deeper pot means steadier prices.
  • Staking: locking your coins for a while to earn a share of fees.
  • Vesting: coins that unlock bit by bit over time instead of all at once.
  • Buyout: someone buys the whole item, and holders get paid in cash.
Think of it like: a normal crypto coin whose pair is a stock token from a licensed issuer.

Rules

  1. Only licensed, 1:1-backed stock tokens can be paired.
  2. Third-party stock tokens are not available to US persons.
  3. No big-company tickers are shown publicly; on devnet the test stock shows as TESTSTOCKx.
  4. No buyout from Liquistate. Turning a token into a real share happens only under the issuer's rules.
